About Me

Tom Messer is a young filmmaker based in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia)

Working amoungst his friends and collaborators, He is always looking to work on projects that push boundaries and hope to innovate on aspects of creativity that elevate pieces of work.

His body of work reflects that. having edited two short documentaries, both highlighting specific communities - 'Technicolour' about a young drag queen 'Ovary Action' and 'Stones and Bones' about a group of volunteers working to find dinosaur bones on the coast of Victoria. He also has directed a music video for local Naarm band 'Propaine' and has worked on many social media projects videographing and editing.

Focusing on community and lifting others around him is what he strives for.
